The final defendant responsible for XXXTentacion’s death was sentenced.

Robert Allen, who’s been locked up since 2018, will serve approximately two years after agreeing to a plea deal for less time behind bars. He plead guilty last year and was sentenced to seven years, with five years served on May 17.

In exchange, back in February, Robert turned on his three codefendants, Dedrick Williams, Michael Boatwright, and Trayvon Newsome. Once Robert is released, he’ll be on probation for 20 years.

XXL points out Robert’s attorney said, “Mr. Allen very much appreciates the opportunity the Court and Victim’s Family have given him to try to turn his life around.” The Jasmine Brand reports Robert apologized to XXXTentacion’s family for his involvement in the murder.

“To say I’m sorry does not even begin the true inner remorse I want to make known. I know that these words that I will speak will never erase the pain and sorrow and loss of what the family will have from now on. There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t think about what happened and beg for forgiveness from God,” Robert said.

Xxx was shot and killed on June 18, 2018, in his car shortly after leaving Riva Motorsports in Deerfield Beach, Fla. Robert claims Derrick, Michael, and Trayvon came up with a plan to rob the “SAD!” rapper and he was against it.

All three men were found guilty and sentenced to life in April.
