The 10th year anniversary of the Broccoli City Festival went down over the weekend, and HOT 97 had a chance to experience it.
Day one of the festival wasn’t fazed by the rain as fans flooded the audience and rocked out with their favorite artist. Day one included performances from Jeezy, Larry June, Wale, Lil Durk, 21 Savage and closed with Ari Lennox.
Day two the clouds dissipated, and the weather warmed up as Alex Vaughn was the first to serenade the crowd. CÎROC Vodka Spritz, Crown Royal, and DeLeón had the drinks flowing as Tems, Gunna, Wiz Kid, Summer Walker and more hit the stage. Co-founder of the fest, Jermon Williams says, “this is the first time we had two ladies, Black woman, co-headline which is powerful for us.”
